Delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of Hungary paid a visit to Ukraine

On November 13, 2013 the delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of Hungary paid a visit to Ukraine.

During the visit the Hungarian delegation headed by the Committee Chairman Mr. Mihály Balla held talks in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and met with the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Victor Mayko. The sides discussed key issues of the European integration of Ukraine, Ukrainian–Hungarian inter-parliamentary interaction as well as cooperation on energy, border and national minorities’ issues.

Mr. Balla confirmed Hungary’s support of the European integration of Ukraine and expressed his hope for a successful signing of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement in Vilnius.
