On December 16, 2014 Chargé d’ Affaires of Ukraine in Hungary Mykhailo Yunger took part in the international conference "Democracy in Ukraine - on the right track?", organized in Budapest by International Center for Democratic Development with the support of the International Visegrad Fund.

In his speech Mr. Yunger focused on highlighting key provisions of the new Action Program of the Government of Ukraine, aimed at restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine and the reconstruction of the Donbas region, the implementation of the Ukraine-EU Association and the carrying out of comprehensive reforms to overcome the economic crisis caused, primarily, by the Russian aggression. The Government's plans to fight corruption, to ensure economic, energy and security policy, to carry out reforms of public administration and justice were highlighted. The importance of providing international assistance to Ukraine to resolve the situation in the country and stop the aggressor was stressed.
