On May 23, 2013 the Embassy of Ukraine to Hungary together with the Ukrainian self-government of Szeged and the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Szeged opened an exhibition “Ukrainian spiritual and material world of the late XIX - early XX century” formed from the funds of the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.
Earlier the mentioned exhibition was presented to the Hungarian community in Ajka, Heves region within the framework of the Ukrainian Culture Days in Hungary.
The exhibition included samples of clothing, headgear and footwear of the Ukrainian ethnic groups of Transcarpathian region as well as rugs, towels, tablecloths, pillows and leather and wooden articles made by the Transcarpathian masters of the late XIX – early XX century.
