Prime-minister of Ukraine M.Y.Azarov paid an official visit to Hungary
In the course of the visit, the Head of the Government held consultations with Prime-minister of Hungary V.Orban, President of Republic of Hungary J.Ader, the Head of Hungarian Parliament L.Kover and met with Hungarian deputies – members of interparliamentary friendship group “Ukraine-Hungary”.
The sides discussed a variety of bilateral issues, specifically in the sphere of trade, transport, energy, agriculture, border and transborder cooperation, environmental and cultural and humanitarian issues.
The Government of Hungary has confirmed its unalterable course of comprehensive support of European integration of Ukraine.
During an official visit a number of bilateral documents have been signed:
- the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Hungary on international combined transport
- a Memorandum between the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Ministry of Regional Development of Hungary on cooperation in the field of plant protection.
- a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Agency for Investment and National Projects of Ukraine and the Agency for Trade and Investment Promotion of Hungary
Prime-minister of Ukraine met with the leaders of prominent Hungarian business structures, visited “Gideon Rihter” and examined the Southern Pest sewage station as well as agricultural company “Bicske”.
