On March 21, 2015 the opening of a photo exhibition, dedicated to the anniversary of the Russian occupation of Crimea, took place in Budapest.
In his speech on this occasion Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine Mykhailo Junger unveiled tragic consequences of the war waged by Russia against Ukraine in order to prevent our country from democratic European development; stressed the importance of the unity of Ukrainians all over the world, particularly in light of Russian aggression; underlined the importance of providing assistance to Ukraine in this extremely difficult time of military aggression and humanitarian disaster; expressed appreciation of the efforts of the Ukrainian community in Hungary, aimed at providing humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian migrants; welcomed the efforts of the Ukrainian youth in Hungary and its contribution to providing aid to the Ukrainian army and wounded Ukrainian soldiers.
