Сonsultations on European integration at the level of directors of the foreign ministries line departments of Ukraine, Hungary and Poland took place in Budapest.
Topical issues of Ukraine – EU cooperation during Hungarian and Polish EU Presidencies were discussed.
The Ukrainian delegation presented current results of the work of the Government of Ukraine on national legislation approximation with the EU acquis, implementation of the Action Plan on Visa Liberalization for Ukraine, efforts aimed at securing energy supply to Europe and energy sector reform in Ukraine.
Special emphasis was made on the completion of negotiations on Ukraine - EU Association Agreement, including establishment of deep and comprehensive free trade area.
The Hungarian and Polish delegations stressed their support of European aspirations of Ukraine and expressed readiness to further facilitate the integration process.
