On May 13, 2014, with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine to Hungary, a group of photographers from the Hungarian city of Szarvas, Békes region made a photo tour to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.

During the visit the Hungarian photographers made a study trip around the Chernobyl zone, visited the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and the Sarcophagus of the 4^th energy bloc, the town of Chernobyl and the abandoned ghost town of Pripyat.

The Hungarian photographers also laid a wreath at the memorial to the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident, known as the memorial “To Those who Saved the World”.
