On January 19, 2014 the Embassy of Ukraine to Hungary together with the Ukrainian Self-Government of Hungary and the Ukrainian Self-Government of Ujpest held festive events on the occasion of the Ukrainian Unity and Freedom Day and Epiphany.

At the beginning of the event Ambassador of Ukraine Yurii Mushka stressed the historical significance of the solemn Act of Union of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic on the way to the unified Ukrainian state.

The evening continued with the holy liturgy on the occasion of Epiphany held by priest of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church as well as the concert performed by the Crimean Philharmonic Chamber Choir “Tavria Blagovist”.
