16-17 December 2013 in Budapest the third session of the Ukrainian-Hungarian Economic Joint Intergovernmental Committee for economic cooperation has taken place.

The Ukrainian delegation was headed by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Prysyazhnyuk and Hungarian - by the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations of Prime Minister’s Office of Hungary Peter Szijjártó.

During the session the parties discussed issues and opportunities for further development of bilateral cooperation in the areas of: industry and investment, support for small and medium enterprises, agriculture, energy, energy efficiency and renewable energy, transport, infrastructure and logistics, tourism, health industry and cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce in Ukraine and Hungary .

At the meeting the Protocol and veterinary certificates were signed.
