The Embassy of Ukraine started the series of events dedicated to celebrating the Days of Ukrainian culture in Hungary
On 21st of February 2013 the Embassy of Ukraine together with the self-government of Hungarian Ukrainians have started the series of events dedicated to celebrating the Days of Ukrainian culture in Hungary.
During the opening ceremony, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Hungary Yurii Mushka underlined the historic importance of publication of the first literary almanac “Ruslaka Dnistrovaja” in Ukrainian language, in the memory of which, the celebration of Days of Ukrainian culture in Hungary is held annually at the end of February.
The Chairman of self-government of Hungarian Ukrainians Yaroslava Hortyani and the Deputy State Secretary for Church, Civil Society and Nationality Affairs of Ministry of Human resources C.Latorcai had a speech at the event.
The event continued with opening of the exhibition of Ukrainian artists living in Hungary, festive concert of Trio Bandura players as well as with performance of students of Sunday school.
