As of January 1, 2019, the contractual framework between Ukraine and Hungary has 88 existing international treaties and international documents regulating bilateral cooperation in almost all spheres.
The Basic Treaty on Foundations of Neighborhood and Cooperation was signed on December 6, 1991 and came into force on June 16, 1993.
Treaty projects under working out: Agreement between Ukraine and Hungary on social security, an intergovernmental agreement on the mutual recognition of educational documents and degrees issued in Ukraine and Hungary, as well as the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Hungary on the control of border traffic in common border crossing points across the border and the Agreement on amendments to the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Hungary on control of border traffic at the border crossing points for motor vehicles and railways links.
